A brand new FASSI for Parkway Timber

Bodmin based Parkway Timber Ltd has been in business for over 30 years supplying timber for small-scale DIY jobs and larger construction projects predominately across the South West.

The company has recently taken delivery of a FASSI F185A.2.23 xe-dynamic. This powerful crane is based on the F155A.2 & makes full use of the HD5 design classification to increase lifting capacity by 23%. Thanks to the advanced FX500 system, with proportional speed & dynamic control, this remarkable performance is achieved with no weight penalty over the base model. It comes equipped with radio remote control as standard & FSC-H stability control for ease of use.

FASSI Fiat at Harewood Hill Climb

Round 7 of the Bugatti Owners Club FASSI Classic Speed Championship took place at Harewood Speed Hillclimb near Harrogate recently.

Five competitors across three cars made the journey north but were rewarded with one of the longest hills in the UK at 1,440m set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wharfedale valley. A great venue for spectators because you can see most of the track from the top of the hill. The sharp final bend into the finish line also made for some crowd-pleasing spills & thrills. The organisation & marshalling is first rate at Harewood with a brisk throughput of cars even allowing for a third timed run.

Terry Howell is one of the largest independent builders’ merchants in South Wales, originally supplying wooden ladders and chocks to the regions coal mines. The company has grown into a thriving retail and wholesale business supplying timber across the UK from its branches in Newport and Pontypool.
The company has recently taken delivery of a FASSI F155A.2.22 e-dynamic. This versatile crane from the light-duty range of FASSI cranes can lift 1,750Kg at 8.25m and comes equipped with radio remote control & FSC-H for ease of use.
