Round 7 of the Bugatti Owners Club FASSI Classic Speed Championship took place at Harewood Speed Hillclimb near Harrogate recently.
Five competitors across three cars made the journey north but were rewarded with one of the longest hills in the UK at 1,440m set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wharfedale valley. A great venue for spectators because you can see most of the track from the top of the hill. The sharp final bend into the finish line also made for some crowd-pleasing spills & thrills. The organisation & marshalling is first rate at Harewood with a brisk throughput of cars even allowing for a third timed run.
