Double GOLD at CCT

October 2019

Central Crane Technicians’ Bartoz Hetmanczuk & Keith Giggle gain GOLD engineer accreditation from the FASSI Training Academy.

A GOLD engineer holds both the SILVER engineer & Certified Installer accreditation's. Graduation to GOLD engineer is our highest accolade & takes 2-3 years because the engineer must demonstrate mastery of all the skills required to our coach, Ken West. Nothing great should ever come easy!

Keith served an apprenticeship in the RAF qualifying as an Avionics Technician working on Tornado jet radar coms, before moving on to Puma helicopters. Keith got his first experience of loader cranes on deployment in Kenya using a loader to lift a puma engine into place in a helicopter. He commented that the fly by wire systems used by FASSI are similar to those on the Tornado jet.

Bart served as an engineer in the Polish Navy before graduating from Tech High with qualifications in repairs of industrial machines and devices. In the UK he attained City and Guilds level 2 in electrical installation & joined FASSI main dealer Central Crane Technicians six years ago.

To celebrate their success we sent FASSI official photographer Chris Arrondelle along to capture them at work setting up the FSC-S system on a new FASSI F235A.
