On the day of their 10th FASSI anniversary, The Crane Centre's Mark Jones achieves GOLD installer.

On leaving school Mark went into the world of work as an agricultural apprentice and worked in agriculture for many years until he was offered a job within the maintenance departments at HST Animal Feeds & then Youngs Animal Feeds. After 10 years in these roles he joined The Crane Centre, where he is involved with the installation and setup of new FASSI cranes. Mark also works mobile as a service engineer having achieved BRONZE level last year.

Outside of work Mark has recently acquired a 1962 Matchless G2 classic bike to restore which he has already got back into life after a thirty year slumber and now the hard work and grazed knuckles begins with its return to former glory.

The Crane Centre have been FASSI Main Dealer for the North-West, Midlands and North Wales for 10 years, supplying over 400 FASSI cranes to their customers.

The FASSI training academy is a structured training and coaching program leading to Bronze, Silver and Gold skills accreditation once the necessary skills have been demonstrated. It represents an investment in the independent crane installation, service & repair sector of which FASSI UK, through our authorised network, is the most vigorous supporter & promoter amongst the major manufacturers. There are 86 engineers enrolled in the FASSI training academy nationally.
