One of the first FASSI cranes imported into the UK is up for sale

FASSI UK, or Autocrane as we were known then, imported the first FASSI into the country in August 1979 (an M3). In the summer of 1980 the factory demo trailer came over with a range of models including an F4, F5, F8 & M9. All the cranes quickly sold, including the M9 to Cammac Coal Ltd in Chesterfield. At 30 tonne metre the M9 was the largest crane FASSI produced at the time. It was mounted to a 1975 ERF chassis & used successfully for many years in Cammac's coal & plant hire business.

Cammac still have the truck & crane in their yard & it is now up for sale as a restoration project. If anyone out there is interested please get in touch. FASSI UK would certainly assist financially with the parts required to give this historic crane a second life.
