First Bronze for Scotland

May 2016

Scotlands first Bronze Approved Engineer is awarded to Raymond Allison of R.Allison Ltd.

R.Allison Ltd have been a FASSI authorised service partner since 2009. In the following seven years the number of FASSI cranes operating in Scotland has risen dramatically. In the same period Raymond has grown from a single mobile engineer to five engineers now enrolled in the FASSI Training Academy, operating from a fleet of vans & a smart modern premises in Lanark.

Raymond has considerable experience in the service & repair of FASSI cranes so it is no surprise that he is the first engineer in Scotland to reach the Bronze certified level. In fact he is well on the way to the Gold level as you would expect from his years of hard earnt knowledge.

Raymond is seen here receiving his certificate & lapel badge from FASSI UK's Product Support Engineer Ken West. Ken continually develops the expertise of our authorised installers and service engineers. A structured training and coaching academy leads to Bronze, Silver and Gold skills accreditation once the necessary skills have been demonstrated.

The FASSI training academy represents an investment in the independent crane installation, service & repair sector of which FASSI UK, through our authorised network, is the most vigorous supporter & promoter amongst the major manufacturers. There are 85 engineers enrolled in the FASSI training academy nationally.
