F65B more reach less weight

January 2016

Fassi continues the renewal programme of its range of medium-small cranes, which started with models F110B and F85B.

Fassi today presents to the market the new models that represent the renewal of its small crane range. There are two models with a load moment capacity of between 6 and 7 tm – the F65B and the F70B. They are even more lightweight than the predecessor models that they replace and they use the new boom link system for improved performance.

The use of UHSS (ultra high strength steels) in the construction of these cranes has resulted in a significant weight saving: a 9% reduction compared to the current F65A.0 model.

In addition, the new linkage design of the primary and secondary joints has led to an increase in the hydraulic reach: a 9% increase in the F65B.1 model compared to the previous model, with significant increase in the working area.

The F65B.1 model comes with the FX500 control system and in the e-dynamic version with the Fassi RCH/RCS radio control. For all the models, there are four base versions that can be fitted with a maximum of four hydraulic extensions.

The addition of the Fassi XP system upgrades the crane to the 7 tm class, where it becomes the F70B.1.

These new cranes will be available from the end of January 2016.
