Joseph Merritt Group Plc add the F800BXP & F1100AXP to the fleet.
Joseph Merritt Group Plc is a leading specialist in the installation and relocation of machinery & industrial equipment. The Company operates throughout the UK and overseas offering a comprehensive range of transport, lifting and engineering services to both manufacturers and end users of machinery.
2008 has been an exciting time for Merritts. Considerable investment has been made in two new low loader crane trailers.
The first vehicle went on the road in March 2008. This featured a new Volvo FH12 480 tractor, tri-axle extender Nooteboom trailer and a Fassi F800BXP.22 mounted at the rear.
The second vehicle, on the road in August 2008, is a new Volvo FH12 520 tractor, 4-axle extender King trailer and a Fassi F1100AXP.24 also mounted to the rear. Both trailers are bespoke for their requirements including specialist tool boxes and storage areas, with the total installation & painting coordinated by Fassi main dealer CCT Ltd., Chesterfield.

Richard Merritt explains why he chose Fassi:
Fassi have been an ever present fixture within our Company. Our range of Fassi products now comprises F420, F450, F700, F800 and F1100.
Fassi have always proved to be very reliable cranes and, most importantly, they are capable of lifting what the manufacturer states, something not all cranes seem able to do!
They are very compact, well designed pieces of equipment and they have great longevity (we still own a Fassi F6.2 dating back to 1985!).
Our local main dealer, CCT Ltd at Chesterfield, have given us great support during the design and construction of both trailers. Guy and David are professional and incredibly knowledgeable and that has shone through on these projects, most notably the F1100 where the attention to detail has resulted in a fantastic trailer being delivered with exceptional stability.
We hope to finalise our specification for our new rigid in the next few weeks and continue to work with them again soon.
